Marnie <
E-mail > is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) who has been with us since 1994. She is our Clinical Director, supervising our Medical Assistants and LPN. Marnie became a Full Partner in CMO in 2012.
Prior to joining CMO she
amassed a truly impressive range of experience. From 1990-94 Marnie provided primary care
as a PNP at the Chelsea Memorial Health Center. Prior to that as an RN
she was at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) for seven years, serving over time in a
variety of roles including supervisor/charge nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
(PICU) and PICU transport team, Pediatric GI Clinic/Procedure nurse, and Clinical
Coordinator of the MGH Children's Rheumatology Unit. Marnie received her Bachelor's degree
from Duke University in 1983, and her Master's degree in Ambulatory Pediatric Nursing and
Maternal/Child Health from Boston
College in 1990.
She is an extraordinarily smart,
knowledgeable, responsible, caring, and seasoned professional who shares our academic
orientation and style. Marnie served as one of our Clinical Care Coordinators for the Pediatric Alliance for Coordinated Care (PACC) - a research project our office participated in
for over 5 years looking at managed care issues for children with special health care needs and developing a "Medical Home.".
Marnie lives with her husband and two sons right here in Andover.
