Meghan Duchesne is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and primarily works with latency, adolescent, and young adult population. Meghan gained ten years of experience in a residential care facility working with children and families who have significant mental health, behavioral and trauma related needs. In her work, she focuses on children with anxiety management, depression, ADHD, and trauma. She also has experience with family consultations and assisting families to better understand their children’s mental health/social emotional needs.
Meghan believes there is no single therapeutic modality to an individual’s treatment and utilizes an eclectic approach including but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution brief therapy, and psychoeducation. She continues to seek ongoing updates to her skills and knowledge base and is open to meeting her clients where they are at. Meghan is a member of FCA’s Integrated Care Team, providing triage, consultation, and treatment services on-site at Children’s Medical Office in North Andover, with which FCA has partnered to integrate Behavioral Health Care into a Patient Centered Medical Home practice.
