Community Case Management (CCM) is an administrative activity of MassHealth performed for the express purpose of authorization and coordination of MassHealth community long-term care services (CLTC). For those MassHealth Standard for MassHealth coverage of continuous skilled nursing services, CCM provides a single point of contact for the coordination and authorization of MassHealth payment for medically necessary CLTC Services. The Catastrophic Illness Fund
The Catastrophic Illness in Children Relief Fund (CICRF) helps families bear the excessive financial burdens associated with the care of children with special health care needs and disabilities. CICRF is a payor of last resort. It provides financial assistance for Massachusetts families with children experiencing a medical condition requiring services that are not covered by a private insurer, federal or state assistance, or any other financial source.
