Dr. Sharon Lewin

Sharon Lewin, M.D., F.A.A.P.

General Pediatrics

Dr. Lewin joined our practice March 2021. She graduated from Brandeis University in 2005, then returned to her home state of New York to attend Stony Brook University School of medicine. She completed her Pediatrics residency training at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell in 2014 then stayed for an additional year of fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. After spending some time as a pediatric/neonatal hospitalist in the Tufts network of community hospitals, she moved to California for continued training in Newborn Medicine at UCLA. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

What is the most important factor in a provider-patient relationship and why?

Treating each other with kindness and respect lays the foundation for everything that follows. It enables us to truly hear and trust one another through whatever challenges come along, and to feel like we are all on the same team.

 

What is your favorite activity outside the office?

Spending time with my family, reading napping with my dogs, being by the ocean, listening to live music, eating candy.
